The census shows William Greenslade, age 58, was the unmarried head of a household whose occupation was farmer of 100 acres. The household included his unmarried brother Henry Greenslade, age 50, and his nephew John Greenslade, age 19, both of whom were employed on the farm, as well as a servant named Elizabeth Lowdon and an apprentice named Emma Hawks.
