Extract from 1940 census of Bronx, New York
The census shows (starting at line 48) that James Greenslade, age 33, was the married head of a household whose occupation was a clerk in the printing industry. The household included (1) his wife Mary Geenslade, age 28, (2) his daughter Margaret Greenslade, age 7, (3) his son James Greenslade, age 3, and (4) his father-in-law Edward Seipel, age 61.
